I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can truly be yourself.
I’m originally from San Antonio, and I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Social Work. I completed my master’s degree in 2023 and obtained my clinical license in 2025. Before moving into private practice, much of my work was in the nonprofit world, where I supported survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as individuals impacted by child abuse. Those experiences shaped the way I understand trauma, relationships, safety, and the many ways difficult experiences can continue to affect us long after they happen.
I take a gentle but direct approach to therapy. I’ll meet you with compassion and without judgment, but I also won’t just tell you what you want to hear. Sometimes we need someone to sit with us in the hard stuff, and sometimes we need someone to gently call us out when we're stuck. I believe both can and should exist in the therapy room.
My approach is also shaped by lived experience. I was diagnosed as neurodivergent later in life, which gave me a very different perspective on the ways we can spend years trying to fit ourselves into expectations that were never designed for us. I also have personal experience navigating chronic illness and pain. While your experiences are uniquely yours, these parts of my own life have deepened my understanding of what it can feel like when your body, brain, or circumstances don't always cooperate with the life you're trying to live.
Outside of therapy, I’m a wife, a dog mom to two spoiled dogs, an avid reader, and a bit of a history nerd. I love getting lost in a good book, learning random historical facts that no one asked for, and spending time with my dogs. I also have a dry sense of humor and firmly believe that therapy doesn't have to be serious every second to be meaningful.
Most importantly, I’m a real person in the therapy room. I'm not a robot, not someone who has all the answers, and definitely not someone sitting across from you judging you or your life choices. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore what’s going on, and empowered to make changes.
